Filter Insert Flushing Instructions

  1. Shut off the main water source to the water filtration system and the RV.
  2. Turn on and leave on the cold kitchen faucet to release the water pressure from the water filtration system.
  3. Pull up the locking clip at the front of the filter housing.
  4. Use the wrench included to turn the filter housing left to loosen and remove it.
  5. Remove the filter insert shrink wrap and place the filter insert inside the filter housing.
  6. Turn right the filter housing to tighten in position and push down the locking clip to secure it.
  7. Repeat steps #3-6 for the other stages of a multiple-stage filtration system.
  8. Turn on the main water source to the water filtration system and the RV.
  9. Run the water through the filtration system and flush for 5 minutes.
  10. Turn off the cold kitchen faucet.

Winterizing Instructions

  • DO NOT ALLOW FILTER HOUSING TO FREEZE!
  • Remove the filter insert before using anti-freeze to winterize the system.
  • Reinstall the empty filter housing back on the filter head/cap.
  • Proceed to winterize coach.
  • Flush filter housing thoroughly before it is put back into service after winterizing.
  • For best results, replace the filter insert seasonally.
  • Flush the new filter insert for approximately 5 minutes to remove any carbon particles.
  • Do not use filters where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
  • Maximum operating pressure is 100PSI/0.7Mpa
  • Maximum operating water temperature is 100°F/38°C
